Pages open at the top

Before, if you scrolled down to the footer and followed a link, the new page opened already scrolled to the bottom. Now every link opens the page at the top — even a page you visited before, and even the one you are on.

“Back” takes you where you were. The browser’s back button returns you exactly where you left off — for example, to the same spot in your search results. And filters and tabs on a page no longer jump you to the top.

A new logo

Finddax has a new brand mark — a “D” with a map pin instead of the magnifying glass. It’s everywhere already: the site header and footer, the dashboard, the sign-in modal, the browser tab, the home-screen icon on your phone, link previews in social networks and messengers, and the verification code email.

Still seeing the old magnifying glass? That’s your browser’s or messenger’s cache. It will update on its own, or just reload the page.

Small things. Cards in search results got even padding, and their text now sits centered next to the map thumbnail. On the Contacts page, the business details moved up and “What people write to us about” moved to the bottom.

Finddax in English — all of it, data included

Until today only the landing page, pricing and contacts were in English: one click on “Log in” and the sign-in modal, the dashboard, error messages and the privacy policy were back in Ukrainian. Now everything a user sees works in English.

The language sticks. The site remembers which language you opened it in: come in through the English version and the sign-in modal, the dashboard and error messages stay in English. The language switch is a dropdown in the site header and in the dashboard — including the mobile layout, where it didn’t exist before.

So does the data. Your language is passed on to Google Maps and to the AI: names, addresses, opening hours and reviews come back in it, and the AI business analysis, suggested services and the pitch to the owner are written in English when you work in English. Cards you have already opened keep the language they were opened in.

Smaller things. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use now have English versions. New support email — finddax.support@gmail.com. The homepage got a banner saying the service is still in development: if something doesn’t work right, write to us — we read every message.

Purchased cards. Saved Results got a “Purchased today” tab and search across purchased cards — by name, address or city. “Open in Google Maps” now opens the business in the mobile app too, instead of an empty search.

Site generation is in beta. While we finish site generation, the “Generate site” button shows how it will work — the steps, a ready pitch and the ways to reach the owner — but no site is created and no tokens are spent.

Paid card opening, a “Purchased” tab and a contacts page

Opening a business card now costs 1 token — once. Opening the same card again is free, and every card opened before this change counts as already purchased: nobody pays twice for something they already had.

You can see what you bought. The price sits next to “More →” until the card is opened. Saved Results now has two tabs: “Saved” — what you starred, and “Purchased” — cards you have paid for, with the pitch status and the generated site.

Starring no longer runs the AI. Starring a business used to trigger the AI analysis — now it runs on the first card open, when you actually need it.

No more stale balance. After going back via breadcrumbs or in another tab, the sidebar could show an old balance. It now updates from every server response and stays in sync across tabs.

Contacts. A new Contacts page — phone, email, what people write to us about, and business details.

Map thumbnails, sturdier payments and sign-in

A map on every card. Search results and the business page now show a map thumbnail. The zoom fits the spread of the results, and on the business page you can change it with the +/− buttons.

Payments. We closed a case where a single payment could be credited twice. If the bank refunds a payment, unspent tokens and Pro are taken back automatically, and the order shows a “Refunded” status.

Sign-in and security. We closed several vulnerabilities in Google sign-in and in the Free plan limits. Resetting your password now signs out every device. If Google sign-in fails, the modal explains what happened instead of silently closing.

Verification code. Pasting the code from the email got cut to three digits — fixed. The code in the email is now a single line, easy to select and copy.

Look and feel. A full-screen mobile menu, consistent spacing across all public pages, a refreshed About page, and the site no longer jumps sideways when a modal opens.

Reviews in their original language and more honest pricing

Reviews without machine translation. By default Google was translating reviews of Ukrainian businesses into English. The language is now passed explicitly, so reviews arrive as they were written.

Custom is a top-up. Custom is no longer presented as a third plan: it’s a token top-up available on any plan. The pricing copy was rewritten without a “monthly subscription” that never existed.

Small things. A business card can now be opened in a new tab with a middle click, the business name shows in the browser tab title, and “Get access” leads to the plans inside the dashboard rather than the public page.

“Load more” — up to 60 businesses per search

A “Load more” button now sits under the results: ~20 more businesses for the same search for 1 token, up to three pages (about 60 places — the limit Google provides). If there is no next page, the token is returned.

The city is no longer a “business”. Google sometimes returned the city or region itself as one of the results. Those entries are now filtered out before you see them.

Polish. The verification code email got a proper design matching the site, and the checkout page shows the “plata by mono” logo instead of a generic card icon.

Email sign-in and real plan payments

Not just Google. You can now sign up with email and password: a verification code arrives by email. Forgot your password — the same code flow lets you set a new one. Passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash.

Payments. Plans are paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Monobank — card details are entered on the bank’s page and never reach us. Before paying you see the amount breakdown and a checkbox about the 14-day withdrawal period.

Documents. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use were expanded substantially: what happens with payments, your data rights, how to delete your account.

Unlock for tokens and all plans in the dashboard

The Free plan shows 5 businesses per search. The rest can now be revealed not only by upgrading to Pro but also once for 5 tokens — for one specific search, without paying for the search again.

Plans. The dashboard got a page with all plans and a Custom calculator: pick an amount and see how many tokens you get.

Public site. The About page now shows the real team, the footer has contacts, the homepage plans became a carousel, and all text is at least 14px with stronger contrast.

A new look for the public site and account deletion

Redesign. The public site got a new dark theme with “glass” panels and a live scene on the homepage. The Privacy Policy and Terms now share the same style and navigation.

Sign-in is a modal. There is no separate sign-in page anymore: the modal opens from any page and brings you back where you were.

Your account, your call. Account settings now let you delete your account: saved results and searches go with it. Confirmations now use proper dialogs instead of the browser’s system pop-ups.

Free plan, a new landing page and a search that remembers you

Free plan. The first 5 businesses per search are free; the rest show blurred with an offer to get access.

Search. The search page remembers your last query and shows the same results when you come back. On mobile, filters open in their own window, and CSV export, saving and sorting became compact icons.

Landing page. A new homepage: how it works, why us, pricing, FAQ — and the first English version of the public pages.

Smart search: suggestions, typos and a shared cache

The first entry in this log. Search stopped being just a form with two fields.

Suggestions from real searches. City and keyword are suggested from what users actually search for, and typos are folded into one query. The keyword became optional — you can search every business in a city.

Faster and cheaper. Search results are cached for a day for everyone: the same search a second time opens instantly, without another call to Google.

Also. A “no website only” toggle, a real map on the business page, account and plan pages, a 404 page. New accounts get 15 tokens.
